Do you also sometimes feel that combining work, personal and family life is not a completely simple process?
This balance, known as "Work-Life Balance", is not just a fashion statement, but the key to overall well-being and a happy life.
It represents a harmonious state where work and personal life are effectively combined. A problem, however, can arise when we do not realize that it is not possible to completely separate these two areas from each other and prioritize only one of them.
Although the requirements for spending free time and engaging in work life change over the course of life, it is not possible to postpone the achievement of balance to a later time due to debt.
And how to do that?
Sometimes you just need to think and realize what we really want and stop looking for complete perfectionism.
1. Go through your typical work day…
Are you using your time at work efficiently to complete assigned tasks or are you spending more time on unimportant things? Try to think, because then the so-called "pulling" things home and the wrong attitude to spending personal or family time can occur unnecessarily.
2. Find enough time for yourself and your family…
Are all household tasks really fairly divided? Here, too, a "stumbling block" can occur. Think about whether the activities that individual household members are responsible for are distributed in a similar measure. Is there not an overburdening of one over the others, because after considering and implementing small measures, everyone can have more time to spend on their personal life and the things that fulfill them.
3. Talk openly…
Whether with your boss, partner or other family members, you can certainly always find a common way, a compromise that will ultimately lead to the satisfaction of each individual.
4. Put aside things that take up your time and focus more…
How many unnecessary activities does your typical day include? How many times do you needlessly run away from reality and spend time looking for useless things, for example, on the Internet and elsewhere? Even all this is usually at the expense of your work, personal and family life. Immerse yourself fully in the activity you are currently doing, do not skip or divert your attention unnecessarily.
5. Find what you enjoy…
Think, try new things, this is the only way you can find out over time what fulfills and amuses you the most and start spending not only your personal time meaningfully.
Maybe a pencil and paper will be enough for you to start with, and after writing it down you will find out what works for you and vice versa. We believe that there is always room for change and balance.
